Questions
Can I use Xheki without an account?
Yes. You can complete onboarding, record, edit and export signed out. Sign in with Apple appears when you first use captions, AI/Clean, purchases, Account, Publish or server-synced features.
Which languages does Xheki caption?
More than 20, including English, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Turkish, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, Macedonian and Greek. Auto-detect picks the language for you. Albanian goes to a speech engine built for Albanian.
Do captions need Premium?
Yes. In the 1.0 App Store build, captions and AI features are Premium. Captions use one minute per started minute of audio, and the app shows the cost before you start.
Can I publish through Publer?
Yes, if you connect your own Publer Business plan with API access. Without Publer you can still save to Photos or use the iOS share sheet.
Do my videos get uploaded?
No. Recording, editing and export happen on your iPhone. For captions, only the audio is sent to the Albanian speech service or OpenAI, depending on the language.
How do I cancel Premium?
Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Xheki Premium. It stays active until the end of the current App Store billing period.
